1. Who we are
BriefNext is a service of Chime Stream B.V., Rotterdam, the Netherlands, KvK 96563028 ("we", "us"). These terms are the agreement between you and us. If you use BriefNext for a company, you accept these terms for that company, and you confirm that you have the right to do so.
2. What BriefNext is
BriefNext is a knowledge server. You connect it to Claude, ChatGPT or Claude Code as a connector (the link that lets your AI call outside tools). Then your AI uses BriefNext's tools in your normal conversations.
BriefNext keeps your profile and your plan. It researches the web and paid data sources for your corner of the market. It makes images and diagrams. It tells your AI what to make next, and why.
BriefNext does not write your posts, articles, captions or scripts. Your AI writes them. You are responsible for what you publish.
3. Accounts and profiles
- You need an account to use BriefNext. Give a correct email address, and keep your password and tokens secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- An account holds one or more profiles. A profile is one person or one brand. We set how many profiles an account can hold.
- Add a profile only for yourself, or for a person or brand that allows you to act for them.
- One connector works with one profile. You choose the profile when you connect.
4. Your AI is your own account
Claude and Claude Code are services of Anthropic. ChatGPT is a service of OpenAI. You use them with your own account, under their terms. We do not control them, and we are not responsible for them or for what they write.
BriefNext does not see your chats. It receives only what your AI sends when it calls a BriefNext tool.
5. Plans and spend caps
- The tools work when your account has an active plan. Without one, they answer that the account has no active plan. You find the plans at briefnext.com/#access.
- If a plan costs money, you see the price and the payment terms before you pay.
- Paid research costs us money each time it runs. To protect you and us, each profile has a spend cap over 30 days. When a profile reaches its cap, paid research pauses. Your saved data, cached results and free tools keep working. The pause ends as older spend leaves the 30-day window.
- We also have a limit for all accounts together. When it is reached, paid research can pause for everyone for a time.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use BriefNext to:
- break the law, or the rights of other people;
- build profiles of people to harass, watch, or discriminate against them;
- make spam, or content that deceives people;
- get access to data or accounts that are not yours;
- attack, overload, probe or copy the service, or get around its limits and caps;
- sell, rent or share your access with other people.
If you break these rules, we can pause or end your access. When we can, we tell you first.
7. Your content, and ours
You own what you put into BriefNext and what BriefNext makes for you: your profile data, your plan, your content, your images and your exports, to the extent the law allows ownership of them. You give us permission to store and process them only to run BriefNext for you. We do not use them to train AI models.
Research results can quote or link to the work of other people. That work belongs to its owners. Check your rights before you publish it.
We own the BriefNext software, name, brand and website. You may use them only to use the service.
8. No guarantees
We give BriefNext "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it correct and online, but we do not promise that it is free of errors or always available.
Research, search volumes and visibility checks come from outside sources. They are estimates, they change, and they can be wrong or incomplete. Check important facts before you act on them. We do not promise rankings, mentions, clients or any other result.
9. Liability
Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim. We are not liable for indirect loss, such as lost profit, lost revenue or lost opportunity.
These limits do not apply when the law does not allow them, for example for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence.
10. Ending
- You can stop at any time. To delete your account and all its data, open Settings in the panel and press Delete my account. The privacy policy tells you what goes.
- We can end your account if you break these terms. If we stop the service, we tell you by email at least 30 days before.
- When your account ends, we delete its data as the privacy policy says.
11. Changes to these terms
We can change these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top. If a change is important, we send you an email at least 14 days before it starts. If you use BriefNext after that date, you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, you can delete your account.
12. Law and courts
Dutch law applies to these terms. The courts of Rotterdam, the Netherlands, decide all disputes. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection that the law of your country gives you.
